Kim Beniston
President
Kim comes from a large musical family and has always believed in supporting the arts. Originally hailing from Morniville, Kim now resides in north Edmonton. She has many fond memories of attending and being a part of performances at the Arden Theatre. Kim looks forward to finding and showcasing new and local artists.

Trevor Druperron
Vice President
“Mr. Popcorn Man” some may know Trevor around the Friends of the Arden board. Trevor recently joined the board in April of 2024. Trevor has a long theatre background from years of working and performing at Jubilations Dinner theatre across Canada. When he was in high school he used to perform on the Arden stage with the high school band with Morinville Community High School. Trevor was born and raised in Morinville but always considered St.Albert a great neighbour. When Trevor isn’t performing or singing with his sisters he likes to use his schooling in Event Management and Marketing to organize parties and events on the side.

Ken Bell
Treasurer
A resident of Grandin since 1979 and a regular attendee of the Arden shows, Ken brings a wealth of experience as a retired accountant and a former treasurer for the Friends of the Children's Festival. He became involved with the Friends in April 2019 and took over the accounting duties. His dedication and expertise are greatly appreciated, and we are thrilled to have him on board.

Barrie Brown
Secretary
Even though she's new on the Board, Barrie is a long-time volunteer for the Arden Theatre and the Friends of the Arden, where she runs the membership table and is always willing to lend a helping hand. With her experience as an Arden usher and her past career as an Executive Assistant in the TV/radio station world, she brings strong organizational skills to the Board.

Sheila McDonald
Director
Sheila has been a resident of St. Albert for over 30 years and is a long-time dedicated volunteer. Sheila joined the Friends board in 2021, eager to make a difference in the community.
With extensive experience in economic development, tourism and recreation consulting, she is a valuable asset to the board, bringing her passion and skills to drive positive change.

With 15+ years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Natalie brings an abundance of knowledge and passion to the Friends of The Arden Theatre.
Natalie has a talent for building strong relationships and creating strategic partnerships, making her a valuable asset to our team.

Maureen Silver
Director
Maureen's genuine appreciation for emerging artists and the Plaza Series shines through as she actively supports and promotes their work. Her extensive experience in working with all levels of government, from municipal to provincial and federal, has equipped her with invaluable knowledge and connections that will undoubtedly benefit the organization's initiatives.

Ron Parker
Director
Ron has been a proud resident of St. Albert for 46 years and has always embraced opportunities to give back to the community. His career spans roles as a school teacher, administrator, and pharmacist, showcasing his dedication to education, health, and leadership. Beyond his professional contributions, Ron has volunteered extensively, tutoring students in classrooms and serving as president of his condo board.
An avid walker and member of two walking clubs, Ron values staying active and engaged in the community. He also enjoys looking after his grandchildren and exploring the world through extensive travels. A firm believer in teamwork and organization, Ron appreciates the positive impact the Arden Theatre has had on the cultural life of St. Albert since its inception. As a regular attendee of performances each year, Ron was inspired to give back by joining the Friends of the Arden Board, supporting its vital role in promoting the arts in St. Albert.
